The BBOV: Quasimodoblogiti
The Big Blogroll O' Vark®™©Yes, I played around with the ancient title of this Sunday in the Christian Year. No, I don't think that I'm going to be struck by lightning because of it. (In case you didn't know,
Quasimodogeniti, "Like newborn babes," is the opening of the traditional introit for the Second Sunday of Easter, the conclusion of the Easter Octave.)
Thanks to those whose six newborn, new-found, or newly repurposed blogs were told to me via comments here or on Facebook. I also continue to keep an eye out on
Networked Blogs in order to discover more Lutheran blogging.
Of course, in this fallen world, life involves change and ends in death. And while I have no reports of deceased blogs, two previously listed sites are being dropped. One became congregation-specific, the other now focuses on the owner's family. However, each of these has been superseded by one of the new BBOV entries.
If you're not sure what to make of the
BBOV or wonder about the benefits of being listed and of listing others' blogs, please read the first three links under
Aurous Effluence in the sidebar. Those who'd like the
Big Blogroll O' Vark®™© can either
email me or copy the list from the Alley's source code (click

CONFESSIONAL LUTHERAN BLOGSNew Listings, Alphabetical by HeightPastor David Hansen turned his old blog over to congregational purposes and opened
Called to Passion for his own writings. He favors this line from Martin Luther: "A theologian is born by living, nay dying and being damned, not by thinking, reading, or speculating."
Drewe Zanki of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia enjoys
Delving into the Scriptures and invites you to join in their study.
According to Luther and his followers,
The First Premise for being considered a true Christian theologian is comprehending the revealed and manifest things of God seen through suffering and the cross. Pastor Donavon Riley is, without a doubt, a true Christian theologian.
Joe Greene, SSP is still studying to be
The Lutheran Deacon of his blog's title. He uses this form to discuss and chronicle his in-parish studies toward this office.
Step into
Sola Fide — Faith Alone — is Paul Smith's "musings, mostly about my battles with God and my religion." If honesty is your cup of tea, all I need ask you is, "One lump, or two?"
Emily Cook knows that she's
Weak and Loved. She moved her other blog in a direction familial and started over in order to engage the outside world as "a mother, a sinner, a child, covered in the blood of Christ, rejoicing in His daily gifts."
Dropped but not DeadPastor David Hansen has decided to let
Postings from Prairie Hill focus on his Texas Hill Country congregation's activities and needs. He'll reach out to the wider world through
Called to Passion.
Meanwhile, Emily Cook has decided to be
Queen Mommie just for her family and take off her tiara as she proclaims herself
Weak and Loved to the rest of us.
FINALLY ...For all those enrolled in the

all of those listed benefit when you use the entire blogroll. Also, if you'd like to graphically point to the Alley and the

Each of these buttons measures 80x15 pixels. Should you choose to use one, please link back to either the main Aardvark Alley URL or else to the post
What Is the BBOV.
Finally, if you own or know of a Lutheran blog demonstrating a
quia confessional subscription and would like me to consider it for inclusion, please leave a comment. And again, for more information about why this stuff benefits confessional Lutheran blogging, morality, and other worthwhile endeavors, please check out the first three links under
